Hey, Where's My Shoulder-Length Hair?

Law and Order SVU has a storyline on right now in which a bunch of embryos have been stolen from an invitro clinic. One of the embryo moms is a woman who created embryos prior to chemo. The actress is Gabrielle Anwar. Her character repeatedly claims to be four months post-chemo...and she has gorgeous shoulder-length hair. Obviously not a wig. It leaves me wondering why the casting director or whoever makes these decisions decided that after four months, you get your hair back. Maybe they know something I don't know. Am I going to wake up in April to a head full of swinging hair? I can't fucking wait. Morons.

Um, what I got from that episode was that I would so raise a baby with Olivia. :) I am just saying.

I haven't seen the show but I'm glad to know that my shoulder-length hair will come back after four months... wait, it's six months since I finished and my hair is only 2 inches long. That's not fair. I feel an angry letter to the Hair Fairy is needed.

Seriously, it pisses me off too when stuff like that is shown. It just perpetuates the myth that as soon as you've finished treatment, you're cured and can get totally back to normal. It just doesn't happen like that and anybody with half a brain should realise that.

I hope Jackson is feeling better.
